The room was spacious and we loved the relaxing hot spring bath after a long day of hiking. The gardens were beautiful and the French restaurant served some delicious meals! Just a heads up, it was a bit of a trek from the bus stop, so pack light if you can 👍

Beautiful and fantastic unit with view. Great and stunning location to what you can get from the Motohakone convenience stores, classic style building. And just next door to the greenery, fresh air, and chirping birds as well as many restaurants👌❤

fantastic onsen

Great place for solo travelers

The onsen was fantastic and not crowded when I went, perfect to relax after a long day. The views over the lake were fine, especially in the morning light, it was amazing.

Not cheap but still acceptable for the experience.

Appreciated climate control, a personal safe and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels in the room. We had a lake view. Location: the hotel was adjacent to the property's EXCELLENT Japanese restaurant, the night for different experiences and a beautiful landscaped park.

The view of the lake from our room was amazing. We enjoyed an excellent dinner at the French restaurant, where the service was perfect and the food delicious, especially the warm bread. The onsen was a nice touch for relaxation. The standard room felt basic compared to pricier options, and the breakfast variety could have been better. It would be great if the restaurants offered more affordable dining options.

The views of Mount Fuji and Lake Ashi from my room were amazing! I could enjoy the serene beauty during sunrise while sipping on delicious tea and nibbling on lovely biscuits. The outdoor onsen was a highlight. Pure bliss!

I had such a relaxing experience! The outdoor onsen was simply magical, especially with the cool breeze from the lake. The Japanese breakfast was hands down the best I had during my trip. I would return to this beautiful getaway without hesitation.

We loved the view from our room and the short walk to Lake Ashi. Don't miss the delicious French food at their restaurant. It really adds to the experience. Be sure to reserve a table before your visit.

One downside was the bar closing early, a bummer after a long day exploring.

Spacious standard twin room with a safety deposit box, air conditioning, and a private bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Loved the onsen with an open-air bath and sauna. The hotel has a beautiful garden, and you can see Mount Fuji from there. Delicious Japanese breakfast and really good service. Free WiFi was a plus!
